Project Engineer (m/f) for Cooling Water Systems

Join our Mechanical Equipment & Systems department in Baden, Switzerland, only 20 minutes from Zurich, and assume responsibility for the order execution of main and ancillary cooling water systems in our combined cycle power plant projects worldwide.

Requirements:

• mechanical engineering degree or similar
• experience in plant engineering and order execution (e.g. of pumps, vessels/tanks, valves, or, preferably, of complete systems)
• knowledge in civil engineering and/or arrangement planning advantageous
• good command of English
• ability to prioritize and to work under pressure
• proactive and organized team player with intercultural competence

Range of duties:

• analyze customer specifications and develop concepts
• evaluate cooling water systems, prepare technical specifications, evaluate offers, and take part in negotiations with potential suppliers
• manage the interfaces with other departments
• support the purchasing organization with your technical expertise
• assist suppliers throughout project execution, coordinate their activities with project requirements, release deliverables, and compile all necessary documentation
