The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl

Wymagania:

• graduate of Chemical and Process Engineering faculty or similar
• minimum 4 years experience in process design
• ability to prepare and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams as well as equipment/instrumentation datasheets
• basic knowledge of instrumentation selection principles
• at least communicative level of English, speaking and writing
• readiness for traveling abroad
• ability to work with Hysys program would be an additional asset

Zakres obowiązków:

• Independent preparation of process design documentation including: P&ID preparation and modification and instrument selection
• preparation of standard equipment specification
• support to software engineers in creating computer aids for design activities
• close co-operation with GE Oil and Gas Headquarters abroad.
