The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas www.edcpolska.pl
Wymagania:
- MSc or PhD in Engineering
- experience relevant to indicated position, areas of expertise and knowledge of disciplines like: fluid mechanics, aerodynamic, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- fundamental understanding of the design, test and analysis tools relevant to the function
- experience with commercial programs like UG, Ansys CFX, ICEM CFD or Fluent is a plus
- good written and verbal communication skills
- team worker, hard worker, fast-learner, open- minded person, optimistic attitude
Zakres obowiązków:
- execute analyses, design and tests
- recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements. Implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
- participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
- assure proper documentation of technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- monitor and communicate project tasks status, issues and significant developments
- participate in organizational efforts in design, analyses, tests and manufacturing technology, quality, productivity and other initiatives
