Repair Engineer (PRMD)

The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl

Wymagania:

• repair / manufacturing support experience
• familiarity with the repair technologies (Welding, Brazing, Machining)
• familiarity with special processes (EDM, Laser, Coatings)
• able to complete projects within resource and time constraints
• basic understanding in a field of mechanical analysis and/or CAD systems
• effective written and oral English language communication skills
• MSc in Engineering

Zakres obowiązków:

• recommend approach and lead repair development
• provide answers to customer's questions related to repair issues
• provide support to GE and non-GE shops, repair development, repair clarification
• active participation in cost reduction projects/activities
• customer sites visits when necessary
