Requirements:

  • experience of demand planning, preferably in FMCG environment
  • good time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines
  • drive for Results - understanding of strategic importance of meeting KPIs, demonstrating commitment and drive
  • good analytical and reasoning abilities
  • resistance to stress
  • helicopter view on whole supply chain
  • fluent English
  • excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Duties:

  • assemble and analyze factors that impact demand (i.e. market trends, seasonality, promotions, competitive products) and build statistical models that quantify the business environment
  • prepare statistical forecast as the key input to S&OP process – explain business assumptions behind the forecast and methods used to quantify each event
  • lead monthly S&OP meetings with Marketing & Sales Teams, ensuring that the Team reaches consensus
  • build the visibility between the volume sales plan and financial target: explain variances, note uncertainty and highlight risk areas to the consensus team
  • ongoing development of sales demand planning process
  • participation in cross-functional teams to successfully develop and execute new product introductions
  • manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management
  • ensure forecasting processes and methods are adhered
  • implement and maintain the process to prevent and monitor write-offs
