Requirements:
- experience of demand planning, preferably in FMCG environment
- good time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines
- drive for Results - understanding of strategic importance of meeting KPIs, demonstrating commitment and drive
- good analytical and reasoning abilities
- resistance to stress
- helicopter view on whole supply chain
- fluent English
- excellent inter-personal and communication skills
Duties:
- assemble and analyze factors that impact demand (i.e. market trends, seasonality, promotions, competitive products) and build statistical models that quantify the business environment
- prepare statistical forecast as the key input to S&OP process – explain business assumptions behind the forecast and methods used to quantify each event
- lead monthly S&OP meetings with Marketing & Sales Teams, ensuring that the Team reaches consensus
- build the visibility between the volume sales plan and financial target: explain variances, note uncertainty and highlight risk areas to the consensus team
- ongoing development of sales demand planning process
- participation in cross-functional teams to successfully develop and execute new product introductions
- manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management
- ensure forecasting processes and methods are adhered
- implement and maintain the process to prevent and monitor write-offs
