Wymagania:
- degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
- minimum 5 years of experience in materials engineering/metallurgy, experience in aviation industry is desired
- familiarity with material related EASA CS-E requirements is desired
- experience in international environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player
- problem solving skills and self-motivation
- proficiency in English
Zakres obowiązków:
- selection of materials for aircraft engine components
- definition and verification of material requirements and inspection methods
- investigation of material failure, applying destructive and non-destructive methods
- material characterization and testing, including preparation of test plans and result analysis
- development and application of technologies for engine component repairs
- evaluation of material related manufacturing deviations and change proposals
- ensuring that products comply with environmental, health and safety standards
- collaboration with other R&D teams, manufacturing, testing, sourcing, and service departments
- cooperation with suppliers in process development
- preparation of technical presentations and reports, including certification reports
