Requirements:
- university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
- minimum 2 years of professional experience as DevOps, Systems Engineer/Specialist/ Administrator (or similar) in mid/large size environment
- proficiency in Windows 2016/2012/2008 Server administration, troubleshooting and scripting (PowerShell desiderable)
- knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL) including administration tasks with ability to create simple queries, functions, triggers etc.
- familiar with Virtualization
- experience with processes and using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Salt - highly desirable
- process oriented person with ITIL foundation knowledge (intermediate as a plus)
- MCTP certification (MCSE preferred) will be an asset;
- programming experience with object-oriented languages (C#/.Net desidered) as an asset
- good command of English
Duties:
- ensuring second and third level of support (including drafting and managing it) for global infrastructure for the purpose of DevOps teams
- automation and configuration management activities for global infrastructure
- big scale/environment servers and databases technologies management and support (mostly Microsoft and Oracle) including performance issues resolution and optimization tasks
- technical documentation and reports drafting
- configuration, management and automation activities
- processes designing and updating by setting up KPIs and CSFs
- business requirements gathering and aggregating
- internal as well as end-users coaching and training activities
