TOMS Polska is looking for Performance Engineer to be part of our new prestige project of establishing a new chocolate factory in Nowa Sól.
Requirements:
Preferably you have an interest in both, mechanics and machinery as well as production science and data-analysis, creating a combination of interest that provides you with an overall insight that fosters ideas and thoughts for improvements targeting increasing the production performance.
With knowledge of production control, planning and process control. Experience in working with SAP is preferable.
Your educational background is preferably as Production Engineer on M.Sc., or B.Sc. level.
You must have at least 1-3 years experience with manufacturing, implementing basic production processes and controlling measurements. We look for analytical skills as well as a proactive and self-driven personality.
Duties:
The position has responsibility for providing engineering support to manufacturing operations of producing chocolate based products. The position requires interfacing with Production Management, Product Development and our planning department.
Knowledge of equipment is together with an analytical mindset two of the most important aspects of the job. Can you combine a production-technical curiosity and the ability to analyze production data? Analyzing data and create suggestions for improvements of production efficiency? Your start-up in the position will be based on taking part of the preparation of moving the manufacturing of specific chocolate based product, preparing the process of traversing the production processes from our factory in Denmark to our new Greenfield manufacturing site in Nowa Sól.
The key responsibilities of this job will include:
- taking part in mapping the current production processes
- process optimization
- process KPI control and follow-up, implementing improvements
- implementation of testing process improvements
- translating SOPs from a Danish context to our new manufacturing processes
