Employer description:

For our client, worldwide transport and logistics as well as heavy-lift transport related with forward engineering and door-to-door project cargo shipping for the civil, offshore, power and petrochemical industries we are opening some positions as SPMT operators.

Requirements:

• qualification from Technical/Mechanical High School (essential)
• previous rigging experience (desiderable), forklift operator
• English - B1 Level (essential)
• skills: Mechanics - basic knowledge, Hydraulics - basic knowledge, Electronics - basic knowledge
• able to properly understand the technical and engineering documentation and manuals
• ability to work under stress
• respect the safety rules concerning the use of equipment
• ability to work individually and in a team
• able to pass a Pre - employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
• valid driving licence
• availability to work overseas, sometimes in remote locations

Duties:

• This opportunity is aimed at high potential individuals who will be placed in Operations Department., the training consists in max 6 months of training spent in at client’s Headquarters where they will receive theoretical and practical knowledge about equipment (such as SPMT’s, strand jacks, skid shoes) basic functionality and driving. After this training period and final practical test, the junior SMPT will have the opportunity to work on site overseas performing heavy haulage and lifting operations in EMEA, Latin America, Asia or Oceania.

Main responsibilities:

• assemble, disassemble, set and configure (mechanically and electronically), operate the equipment in any configuration and for any cargo type/weight and lifting
• perform the rigging and all other operations with the equipment
• perform daily and weekly control and maintenance of the equipment
• report faults and execute necessary repairs

Company offers:

• training of max 6 months at client HQ located in Italy
• salary equivalent in PLN to 700 € Net/per month with polish labor contract
• accomodation: provided by the employer at its premises in double rooms
• back to Poland: 2 times, by plane (economy class), paid by the employer
• insurance: in addition to ZUS, insurance policy stipulated with GENERALI Poland, for accidents at work

Candidates who will pass the training period with good evaluation will be employed with a labor contract to work overseas where the company has projects with very good salary and social package on 45/60 days rotation.
