Requirements:

• Master's Degree in engineering field
• chartered status of an appropriate institution
• at least 5 years of relevant experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment industry
• experience in/Knowledge of design according to local and international design codes (EU, UK, USA)
• commercial awareness and evidence of project delivery meeting quality, time and budget requirements
• good command of English
• extraordinary interpersonal and organizational skills
• motivation to learn, develop and knowledge sharing

Duties:

• mechanical design in the field of hydrotechnical engineering/water and wastewater networks/water and wastewater treatment/ sludge treatment
• pump selection: dry pumps, submersible pumps, dosing pumps, sampling pumps
• selection of mechanical units water and wastewater plants: mixers, conveyors, sludge thickeners and centrifuge, dosing systems
• hydraulic calculations
• pipe selection based on losses, velocity, diameter
• selection and design of mechanical components in hydrotechnical projects: sluice gates, pen-stocks, lock gates, etc.
• preparation, review and checking of mechanical calculations and design
• support of mechanical tender/outline/detailed design solutions in accordance with program and budget constraints
• liaison with internal clients/customers in order to develop business relationships
• cooperation with engineers and designers across disciplines
• providing mentoring and support for junior engineering and technical staff
• delivering projects in English
• participation in foreign business trips (short duration)
