Requirements:

  • professional experience in engineering or quality area in manufacturing industries
  • professional experience in project environment
  • technical degree
  • experience of process design and equipment specification creation
  • proficiency in advanced manufacturing concept (SMED, Poka Yoke, JIDOKA, JIT, Lean, DFM/DFA, etc.)
  • creativity
  • SixSigma Green Belt Certified - as advantage/proven problem solving experience
  • experience at work in cross functional teams
  • ability of investment estimation and decision making
  • experience in selecting and cooperation with appropriate vendors
  • very good command of English is a must

Duties:

  • design and development of manufacturing processes
  • develop new process technology, standards and roll out across WABCO
  • focus on real solutions of technology challenges and improvements
  • ensure applicable process technologies are benchmarked and implemented
  • training and coaching of manufacturing engineers in manufacturing process and technology standards
  • create manufacturing concept and check project time schedule, product concept
  • develop strategy for production/new technology
  • support on DfMA and Lean Manufacturing workshops
  • participate in global projects
