Requirements:
- University Degree in Naval Architecture or Shipbuilding subjects with a gained field experience support
- Min. 3 years relevant practical experience as an engineer in shipbuilding industry as hull construction supervisor
- Understanding and good basic knowledge of marine classification, new construction, marine repairs, periodical, statutory, materials and equipment surveys as necessary
- Good command of the English language written and oral
- Client focused
- Good team member with proven communicative skills
- Self motivated with pro-active skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Committed to constant improvement and the ability to implement changes as required
- Commercial awareness
- To reside in the area of Szczecin or willing to relocate
- Valid driver license
Duties:
- To project manage and survey during construction
- To perform Marine Periodical Hull (Machinery and Statutory dependent on experience) surveys in accordance with applicable Ship Rules and Regulations and other Codes, Standards or Conventions as directed
- To participate in and contribute to specific job training as directed
- To report all inspections and surveys accurately, as necessary and within the required timescales in order to achieve the target Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- To complete timesheets daily and submit them promptly
- To regularly access the intranet to review applicable corporate, technical and administrative notices as well as all other rules, regulations and survey procedures manuals
- To carry out any other duties as directed by the Surveyor in Charge
