Requirements:

3+years of demonstrable relevant business development experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management market (or equivalent) in an international environment
considerable, relevant and active professional network in Central and East Europe (in particular Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania and Ukraine)
excellent command of Polish and English – knowledge of other East European languages is an important advantage
willingness to frequently travel in Europe for short periods (less than 2 weeks)
solid scientific or engineering background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, or civil engineering (or equivalent through experience)
customer and service minded approach
communicative team player
inquisitive and generous in sharing knowledge and experience

Duties:

identification, mapping and evaluation of current and future energy efficiency, energy and carbon management market opportunities and needs
characterization of new energy efficiency, energy and carbon management services to effectively address existing and future market needs
support during the development, roll-out, and scaling of existing and new energy efficiency, energy and carbon management services
initial marketing and sales effort of existing and new energy efficiency, energy and carbon management services
support during the development of the strategic and tactical plans for the unit
representation of the local unit and DNV on international conferences, seminars and workshops
