Requirements:

  • master's degree in Power Systems, Electrical or Control Engineering
  • practical experience from design offices and/or shipbuilding and/or shipping industry is welcome,
  • practical knowledge of Marine Electrical Power Engineering, Marine Electronics and/or Ship Automation is an advantage
  • experience with automation systems and field instrumentation is an advantage
  • a team player, with a positive attitude
  • eager to learn and develop yourself
  • motivated and ambitious
  • result-oriented and pro-active
  • good communication skills and command of spoken and written English are important
  • willing to travel (training and work related)

Duties:

  • plan approval of electrical and control systems class documentation for various types of Ships and Mobile Offshore Units
  • plan approval of electrical and control systems class documentation for various components e.g. switchboards, converters, control systems
  • participation in surveys and functional tests
  • support to the local stations and external Customers
  • rule maintenance and developing projects
