Wymagania:

at least 5 years’ experience in management and leadership of a multidiscipline (engineering) team
people manager with high energy level, positive attitude and perfect communication skills
coaching and influencing skills, able to take the “ambassador role" in cross functional discussions
ability to work under stressful circumstances with multiple deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines
strong process and operational experience (lean/six sigma), financial acumen
strong (electro-) technical background related to power distribution and conversion in low voltage, medium voltage and DC
electrical Engineering degree will be an asset
excellent communication/presentation skills in English and Polish, both written and oral
IT Skills: ability to work with the day to day tools like MS Office, SAP, planning tools

Zakres obowiązków:

the job provides the opportunity to actively drive Growth and Operational Excellence in the Equipment business via shaping and managing the Requisition Engineering team of 35+ engineers
from customer order entry to order release in production, his team is preparing the detailed technical documentation of low- and medium voltage switchgears (“Equipment") projects according to customer agreed specification and lead times while ensuring respect of quality standards and technical agreed regulations
tracking of the execution of the projects together with the Manufacturing/Materials Teams to drive it according to agreed technical specifications, times, quality and costs targets while keeping contacts with the other members in the matrix organization (Customer Service/Sales/Product Management) in order to communicate progress
handling changes during project execution in customer specifications and translate them into modified technical documentation, production plans and into additional costs to be factored in change orders
supporting the tracking project costs during execution to detect deviations in order to drive proactive corrective actions and performing post mortem costs analysis in order to drive profitability increase initiatives
cooperating with the product development team (Technology) in working out new technical solutions to build the product database and with that, minimize “one off" solutions
the engineering leader is responsible for driving efficiency and cost out initiatives in Bielsko Biała and share the outcome with other sister plants in EMEA to drive cost out and hand-over efficiency
drive, from engineering side, other projects like product localization and new product introduction (NPI)

Guides career development of subordinates and conduct performance reviews

conducts regular meetings with employees to ensure communication of operational objectives
supporting the technical input needed to validate customer claims
reviewing and validating costs estimations
ensure administration supports OTR (Order-to-Remittance) processes
manage team members and program resources including performance appraisals and project funding
