We are looking for a motivated person with commissioning experience in conventional steam power plants to join our global Plant Commissioning Technology group, which is based in our head office in Baden, Switzerland, only 20 minutes from Zurich.

Requirements:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering
several years commissioning experience, incl. as overall commissioning manager for conventional steam power plants
work experience in one of the following areas: water steam cycle, boilers, balance of plant, instrumentation

& control or electrical

team spirit in combination with an independent working style, initiative and determination

Duties:

liaise with our Global Commissioning function to improve and develop commissioning

processes, execution concepts, documentations, and tools

actively participate in steam tenders to review contractual issues, manpower plans, schedules, and fuel consumption forecasts regarding their feasibility
support and instruct project and commissioning teams on specific issues as well as during preparation and execution phases
collect and evaluate site feedback to close the loop with tendering
prepare and issue commissioning management processes and strategies
travel occasionally to share your knowledge in international meetings
